Everytime I hear about a new #database technology that claims any sort of scalability and consistency guarantees, my next action is to find Aphyr's #Jepsen tests and analysis written for it.
Heard about #CockroachDB yesterday and it seems pretty neat. Uses postgres protocol, so any psql client should work with it.
Based on RocksDB/LevelDB /w Raft for consensus using CoreOS's implementation in etcd.
