Things I won't miss from the bird place: Nazis, political bots, threads, #brands, nested quoted tweets that don't pay off when you get to the bottom, institutional accounts that exist for PR without thinking about what content a follower wants to see, accounts that tweet with so many abbreviations and hashtags that you can't derive sense from it, brands that tweet the same content multiple times per day, being forced to make grammatical errors to fit in 140 characters, and oh yeah, Donald Trump.
@bradamant I've really grown to dislike that place, as it seemed that it just exists to be a press release farm and an avenue where people press fave button rather than engaging. And, of course, the threats by dumbass nazis.
@bradamant Yeah. I kind of miss when it felt less like work going on there. Ah well.
