@somethingeloquent Unless the alligators have been fed by humans, they normally don't equate people with food and tend to just try and get away.
That wouldn't happen to be near Banff, would it? I see pictures of Banff on reddit all the time, looks like a beautiful place. It's on my bucket list. Maybe one of these years...
@Taco yeah we're an hour and a bit away from Banff, deeper in the mountains though.
@Taco my usual view is not so nice back in Winnipeg, but I'm visiting family back in BC, and considering that my hometown here is essentially surrounded by national parkland, as well as several provincial parks I'm pretty lucky. I also have the option of visiting the Grizzly bear or Wolf sanctuaries... :-D
With all that, I'd gladly visit swamp and alligator country. Wetlands can be stunning sometimes and Alligators seem pretty cool (from a safe distance)!
