Saw #Coco last night for date night. Miles above any non-Pixar movie, but still weirdly uneven for a #Pixar movie.
To underscore this, there was a quick video of Pixar employees immediately before the movie, highlighting the level of detail and collaboration that went into making "Coco". It was a surprisingly frank statement of "Yes, this movie isn't great, but we worked really hard on it!"
