Deleted my personal #twitter today, for so many reasons. Despite being 100% behind the decision, and not using the account at all anymore, it still gave me a bit of anxiety.
Change is good, and sometimes hard.
uh... now the filter feature disappeared on mastondon.social??? I notice because I'm seeing stuff from #twitter again 🤔

#mastodon is too confusing for the average user who doesn't know #twitter (there are more of them than we think). that's also a reason we don't get more non-tech people. /cc @InspectorCaracal

well if #Mastodon becomes the norm it will have similarities to #twitter:
- there will be a toxic community in some places, for sure.
- it'll be ranting and fighting in many places, also more nazis and rightwingers will join.
BUT:
- tight communities will be able to exist besides that and will not be harassed or threatened by normal people who don't understand or literal enemies.
Ik werk al twee jaar met #Ubuntu 16.04 Geen echte problemen. Alleen na 2 jaar begint alles wat trager te verlopen. Dus ga ik eens wat dingetjes checken. Zo kwam ik voorbij de settings en kwam ik daar de legal notice tegen. Het staat er letterlijk in. Ubuntu geeft je online gedrag door aan #FB, #Twitter, #Amazon en de #BBC! Laat dit nu de reden zijn waarom ik op #Linux wou overstappen en voor Ubuntu koos. Zijn er andere gebruiksvriendelijke distro's die je online gedrag niet doorvertellen?

Je veux désactiver la 2FA sur Twitter.
J'arrive sur la page qui me demande d'entrer mon mot de passe (avec en dessous les bouton NON, OUI (Oui pour désactiver le 2FA)).
Et au MOMENT où votre mot de passe est correcte dans le champ, le bouton "OUI" se grise.
Retirez un caractère, le bouton OUI est à nouveau cliquable.
➡️ J'ai utilisé l'inspecteur de Firefox pour virer l'attribut "disabled" du bouton et valider le formulaire.
