I'm reading Barbara Hambly's "A Free Man of Color" historical #mystery #series, and I honestly can't imagine Benjamin Janvier being played by anyone except Avery Brooks. He's not as dark-skinned as the character, and not as tall. But I feel like his voice is indispensable. Maybe it's only that Benjamin Sisko is a Louisiana Creole like Benjamin Janvier and I identify Avery Brooks so strongly with his role as Sisko.

#series I finished Neo Yokio, and I'm quite confused.

The show feels very fresh, the characters are likable despite being generally insufferable, but I don't get where it's going.

It feels like it will turn anytime into a criticism of capitalism with a more serious tone, but at the end of the season there are still only hints about it.

I'm not sure I enjoyed it very much, but at least it's very short. :]

Pour les vieux Mastodontes : la série "Halt and Catch Fire" vient de sortir la 4e et dernière saison, mais en version sous-titrée.

Perso, même si il y a certaines incohérences, c'est chouette de se retrouver à l'époque de la mise en place d'internet
