I'm Matt, a software developer stuck in corporate #java shops to pay the bills while programming #julialang, #python, #php, #perl, and more in my free time.

I go to a #makerspace on Tuesdays, #fredworks. I live in #nova with a job in #dc. Formerly lived in #rva and a former member of #hackrva, which explains the instance I use.

Have attended #magfest for years, so if you go to #maglabs or the main event in January you may see me.

In addition to my general #introduction I wanna talk about my disabilities and being neurodivergent/neurodivers.

I'm diagnosed with a "general depression and anxiety disorder" and a "post-traumatic stress disorder". I normally just say that I have depression and anxiety because my symptoms sometimes change a bit.

I have a diagnosis appointment for ADHD next week, I highly suspect that I'm ADHD. I might also fall into the autism spectrum, but I'm not sure about that.

Alright here's my #introduction.

PC gamer, I used to play BFBC2, various MMOs, but now I play Guild Wars 2 exclusively, as that is all my laptop run.

My "Gaming Rig" is now 11 years old and doesn't cut it. Upgrading isn't a priority at the moment...
I have a family, so gaming has to fit around the various other priorities in my life.

I'd like to game on Linux once I build a new machine.
