Sometimes you need to step back, look around and get back to yourself in order to figure out what to do next.
Usually people don't understand what's going on at such times.
Forbes found a strong correlation between leaders who asked for feedback and leaders ranked highest for effectiveness.
Leaders who were in the lower 10% of people who asked for feedback were only ranked as 17% effective by their peers and employees. Meanwhile, leaders who were in the top 10% of people who asked for feedback received an average effectiveness rating of 83%.
Don't confuse empathy with sympathy.
My two wishes for Mastodon:
1) They never introduce quote-toots.
2) People stop whining about having to do a bare-minimum activity like Content Warnings and suck up their entitlement and use them.
@RebelMoogle Totally! I think Mastodon can make it.
When money is not the prime criteria, others like power, knowledge or recognition take over.
In my opinion, sometimes those are even more complicated to fulfill. How much is too much?
@jd I completely agree with you. #ListeningMatters
@Nezchan From time to time, users find more value in what works for them other that what looks super cool and novel.
I like how you think! Thx! :D
@bdsa Absolutely! That's what I like the most right now. :D
@Nezchan Totally! Of course, success criteria is core.
In my opinion, at this point Twitter is kinda desperate to keep its head up, even sacrificing #userexperience, and Mastodon has opportunities to improve and become "viral", so to speak.
:)
Been reading several posts wondering and discussing on the possible success or failure of #Mastodon.
Being a huge #Twitter fan, I have to say that in my opinion, Mastodon has an interesting potential. Not only does it give an option to other social networks, but at least for now it's #adsfree, meaning that the #userexperience may resemble #socialmedia 10 years ago.
What do you think about this?
What some people call #badluck is actually more like a serie of choices poorly made.

@angelbc ¿Qué piensas de esta pashanga?
@Danielhonigman Get it... I wish I could search for topics here but only hashtags seem to work. Any ideas?
Hola Twitter 2007 :elephant:
Yes, it is a fact that brands want and need to sell to keep themselves alive and operating.
On this perspective it is no surprise that they want to be all-around for possible users to see them and "want" to buy them.
#Brands are acting on their comfort zone instead of helping users figure out their own brand-related #motivations for more "natural" consumption.
#Marketing #disruption is needed, not spamming all over.
#Digital #disruption isn’t actually about technology. Digital disruption is about:
1. Understanding the actual realities of the market.
2. Knowing the true needs, wants, beliefs and motivations of consumers.
3. Framing your business and brand relevantly within that context.
4. And then…using technology for engagement.
What made twitter successful? Was is getting famous people on it that attracted more users who wanted to follow there thoughts in real time?
@nilcerebrum #LOL, it's O.K. :P
