Do you ever work with huge CSVs? or CSVs at all, really...

Please do yourself a favour and try out "xsv". It's an amazing CLI tool for slicing, sampling, perusing, and generally juggling around CSVs, and it's lightning fast.

It saved my butt this week.

What are easy and quick tips to win national research scholarships, wrong answers only pls.

Mine is: Upload your proposal as "proposal_version_44.pdf". Funding application portals have a secret feature that detects the # of revisions you made and gives you bonus pts.

Sure, you lose every funding competition you don't apply to, but you also lose 1-3 weeks for every competition you write an application for.

I've been writing these since undergrad, and honestly it's starting to feel irresponsible to keep writing them.

Turns out the Canadian science funding agency @NSERC_CRSNG@twitter.com shares a name with some US Navy website, and my funding application procrastination skills are full tilt.

This website has a Serious Business DoD disclaimer that is somewhat undercut by:
1. Expired SSL
2. "occnrring"

If you have a @PyTorch@twitter.com project that isn't using @PyTorchLightnin@twitter.com , you really should give it a look!

Took me 1/2 a day to port my code base, and I get a bunch of goodies like FP16, Multi-GPU, and best of all, a really clean code base that focuses on data and architecture.

Looks like some clever person is scraping emails from the @ietf@twitter.com hackathon held in Montreal last summer.

I wonder where these emails are being published...
