@thurloat Well the dual driver is interesting, but the tech I'm curious about, supposedly automatically adjusting the equalizer based on the sound profile they capture of your ear.
But from reviews I've seen apparently both the dual driver and sound profile are very good and pretty consistent.
Really excited for my #Nura headphones to arrive today. I've heard fantastic things from folks who have already received theirs.
It will be great to have a really good pair of headphones for a change. Not just some cheap $20 pair.
Last night was a delightfully busy night for my ADS-B receiver. I always love watching the flights passing by, and picking out any unique ones like private jets or military aircraft.
But even the regular commercial flights are very interesting to watch and check out. And sometimes you can even find their pilots on Twitter discussing their routes prior to take off.

Shower thought: if Golang's version of coroutines are called goroutines, then I really hope they don't add their own version of monads
@ink_slinger I don't think it's as much a statement as that though. Avatar, even at the time, had a knock off story line. What it did bring was the biggest effort and expense spent on bringing the full 3D effect to theatres.
Avatar made 3D part of the experience and movie and not just a gimmick added to the movie.
@ink_slinger that is horrible! I could understand maybe choosing to auto _block_ push notifications but not too allow them. That is just aggravating.
I've seen some sites, like the Beaverton, request notifications which it has no need to ever do
@ink_slinger yeah sadly it's not the first of questionable practices I've seen. From the "for your security don't click on email links, download this attachment to read why" to "click this unsolicited email to reset your corporate email to sign up for a backup account for email resets". And don't get me started on their git workflows
Ugh! So my office implemented a spam filter. To prevent people from being spammed or falling for phishing attacks.
Problem is, for ever piece of spam I receive, I receive a notification from the spam filter saying "We received what we believe to be spam" and they list the subject and sender. I can then choose to allow the email. Or allow the sender as a whole.
For. Every. Piece. Of. Spam...
Bah, I really need to start keeping an open Mastodon tab again. I did for quite some time and then stopped, maybe due to work and getting things done (I think I was VPNing into the office a lot. Traffic monitoring and such). Anywho... Yeah more moostodon...
@GrooveStomp So branches like FEATURE/115293-FIX-THE-THING are all right up your alley then? heh
One of my favorite pastimes lately has been using an RTL-SDR connected to a raspberry pi as an ADB-S receiver.
I've always been an #avgeek and being able to see the radio signals from planes passing overhead is constantly fascinating to me. Plus by providing the data to sites like FlightRadar24 and FlightAware I get an Enterprise level account to be able to see more info on fights and tracking features.
