I've been advised to introduce myself with hashtags. I assume that means the current, colloquial use of the term hashtag, and not a reference to a language I'm unfamiliar with, so here goes: I love #Writing and and an #Author but my first love is #reading. Currently, I spend my time #parenting, living the stay at home #momlife, to our 7 month old daughter Ezra. I also love #cooking, especially playing with #FoodAesthetics.
@Taco nice to meet you as well! I enjoy a well played meal - I may overindulge in food documentaries from time to time. Whether that food is messy or not is not directly correlated to how nice it looks on the plate :)
Example: I adore hot dogs. I also think they can be arranged beautifully. But they're never not messy.
@JessSloan Aside from Anthony Bourdain, I can't stand to watch anything exclusively about food. They tend to just make me hungry.
How do you dress your hot dogs? I'm typically one for a single condiment: typically A sriracha ketchup if I have some on hand. Sometimes mustard, BBQ sauce, or chili depending of mood.
It all depends on my mood really. Ketchup and shredded cheese on the bottom, then the hot dog, then some sweet relish, either sauerkraut or cherry tomatoes in balsamic vinegar with basil, then yellow mustard. That's my ideal dog. @Taco
@JessSloan Hello and welcome! :D
@JessSloan Food Aesthetics, hmmm... So it looks good and tastes good? I normally just do the taste good thing. Some foods, this messier, the better. The true test of a roast beef Louisiana Poboy is how many napkins you have to use clean yourself up with afterwards. Anything less than three isn't worth your time.
Nonetheless, I look forward to seeing your handiwork!
Nice to meet you.
