Another dimension to this is that the rich are relatively few, while the needy are a huge portion of the population. The UBI spent on the rich is a small waste buying the stability and support associated with Universality. Drawing a line between the Worthy and Unworthy is corrosive, and is the source of so much damage and resentment in the political sphere (especially in the US). Making it UBI truly universal helps make it last.

You know, it's ok not have an opinion about certain topics. I know we're all intelligent, thoughtful people that like to wrestle with ideas and concepts, but you don't have to do that with everything that you see.
It's ok to just let it go and not expend so much brain power on every topic one sees. You'll have plenty of other opportunities to put your big beautiful noodle to work.
It's okay to use a timer to remind yourself to take breaks.
